My background is horse racing. I’ve been riding racehorses for a living for most of my life and love my job.
Once I had my children I found it hard to get a good work/life balance. I was working weekends and school holidays. We were always so busy that it was impossible to get time off over the holidays. The winter season starts in July when the horses come in from grass, so summer holidays have always been a really busy time at the yard as well. If I did manage to get time off then I didn’t get paid. Even though I would work 35-40 hours a week, that is considered part-time in racing, so I didn’t get as many benefits as full-time staff.
Racing is not lucrative and I needed to earn more income. When I looked at Forever, I saw a healthy work/life balance and uncapped income potential. At last I found something I could build up for myself and family around everything else I was doing.
Forever has given me choices and I have a much better work/life balance. This enables me to work from home during summer holidays and that is fantastic!
